Today I would like to share with you the secret of becoming a master in any craft in the world.
I red this in the book “Outliers” by Malcolm Gladwell. So what Bill Gates did to become super successful? What The Beatles did to achieve that kind of succes? What Warren Buffet did to become one of the wealthiest guys in the world? They all followed the same rule. This is why I am 100% sure that if you will apply same strategy you will become an mlm expert.
The rule I am talking about is ten thousand hours rule. Research says that a person need to practise their craft for 10 000 hours to master it. There is no way you will not become good at something after practising it for so many hours. It’s impossible. So whether you want to become master in sales, network marketing, online marketing, public speaking, playing guitar etc. if you spend the thousand hours practising it you will become the best in your craft. When you keep going you gonna become better and better at it.
One of my mentors said once: “If you want to get good at something, get good at something worth getting good at”.
I remind myself these words every time I think about network marketing profession. There is no other career where you can make such amount of money and at the same time have time freedom to enjoy your life. Many people making solid income are in the occupations they don’t like. They spend countless hours in the office hating their job, with people they don’t like and trust for years. Compare this with mlm industry. You work on your hours, with people you choose to work with, generating income you could never make in a job and with the ability to empower and help others. If these criterias are important to you then you are in the right profession.
I remember my first presentation, my first public speach, my first training. It was all so bad that I feel embarresed for it. But I kept going. I kept doing it over and over again so I became better. I kept going and I became good. I kept going and I became really good at it. And to be honest with you, you don’t have to spend ten thousand hours to become great at something. If you spend a thousand hours you will become really good at this. Just keep going.
More thoughts about how to become network marketing professional you will find in the video below.
There are two parts of success: art and science. You see knowing what to do and how to do it will not guarantee achieving your goals. It’s like expecting to be perfect at something just after reading the manual. The key of becoming a master is in art. And art is something you cannot just read, you must practice over and over again. Spend ten thousand hours doing what you have red and you will go through transformation from being unconsciously incompetent to being unconsciously competent. For network marketers it means you will know how human mind works, you will understand people’s emotions, you will be able to teach people effectively how to achieve the level of success you have reached.
